Tutsi Dance Shield
Handmade by Tutsi artisans in Rwanda. This authentic black and white bold geometric designed elliptical shields are carried by the Tutsi tribe from Rwanda. The shield is an important element of the visually striking costumes worn during the Intore cultural dance ceremony.
The word ‘Intore’ means warrior. The Intore is the dance held at all Rwandan celebrations from marriage ceremonies through national Rwandan celebrations across the world.
